Eric Geppert is the founder and President of Red Peak Legal Advisors. He is a corporate attorney with over 30 yearsโ experience representing clients in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate finance, and other strategic transactions. Eric has deep experience with corporate governance and complex contracts. His core strengths are successfully negotiating and closing important transactions, removing complex legal obstacles to growth, and having the knowledge and vision to help clients avoid mistakes and surprises.
Eric applies the right level of technical expertise and commercial ability to get the job done. This business-like approach to lawyering makes him a trusted advisor to his clients.
Ericโs approach comes from the blend of his experience in corporations and law firms. He was Senior Vice President, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary of iMedia Brands, Inc. (Nasdaq: IMBI), a leading interactive media company that owns a growing portfolio of lifestyle television networks, consumer brands, and media commerce services. At IMBI, Eric was the chief legal officer with a business emphasis on corporate development and capital markets. He had the same role in a private investor-backed company that provided various services to cloud computing platform providers (e.g., Amazon, DXC Technology, and Tencent) in the US and globally.
Prior to being a general counsel, Eric was a partner at DLA Piper for seven years and thirteen years at Baker Hostetler where he started his legal career in 1988. At those firms, he focused on representing well-known entertainment, sports, and news media clients in strategic growth transactions and myriad corporate matters, earning Best Lawyers in America, Super Lawyer, and National Law Journal Deal Maker of the Year recognitions. Eric holds a JD from The George Washington University National Law Center and a BS from Ithaca Collegeโs Roy H. Park School of Communications.

Ken Bart is a corporate and securities attorney with over 17 years of legal experience representing both private and public entities in many different corporate and securities related transactional matters, including equity and debt offerings, joint ventures, fund formation, stock exchange listings, initial and secondary public offerings, corporate restructures, domestic and international mergers and acquisitions, among other matters. Ken has represented clients in a broad spectrum of industries, including technology, software, healthcare, oil and gas, pharmaceutical, information technology, and real estate.
Ken has served in key leadership roles in multiple organizations and represents a wide range of clients, including venture capital investors, small and medium-sized private and public businesses, and private equity and real estate funds. In addition, Ken routinely acts as outside in-house counsel to his clients and thrives on developing innovative solutions to optimize business operations and profitability. Ken is adept at providing ethical legal counsel, collaborating with, and leading and mentoring high-performance legal teams.
Before joining Red Peak Legal Advisors, Ken served as Co-Chair of the Capital Markets Practice Group at an east coast boutique securities law firm, worked at highly regarded regional and national law firms, and began his career operating a corporate and securities law firm based in Denver, CO. Ken holds a JD from Pepperdine University School of Law, and a BA from Hope College.
